My son told me A-J cycle in Gill Mass has completed my laundry list of maintenance on the T5 and he will probably pick it up this week. My prodigal son gets to ride my bike before I do. I haven’t seen the invoice yet but know the price. I gave the dealer a huge spare no expense list of repairs, maintenance and replacements to do and expected a much larger bill. Pleasantly surprised by what I know so far. If you are in New England, it seems to me these guys are the real deal good guys. I won’t put a picture of the bike in my icon until I ride it, just not right to call it mine until it has been between my legs. I’ll be there in a month and give you guys a trip report after I have put it through its paces.

I used to visit them when I first got my Jackal, while living in Boston for school back in the late '90's. Great shop then, and glad to hear they've maintained.
Is the big sheep wool place still on the Mohawk Trail? I still have mine from the "butt sized" pile they had for $10.

I haven't been back in a decade myself, this visit will be a little homecoming. I bought the bike to keep in New England for visits.

Just saw this.

Yep, it's still there selling sheep sh**. You can pick up all sorts of odd pieces if you need a pad and the prices are reasonable.

I will also chime in on AJ. Wonderful people, fair and honest. They are truly riders and have that old school feel in their shop. I would be Guzzi free if it wasn't for them. Instead, I am now cursed with owning more than one :)

After reading what they did to his bike and called it done I question if the good mechanics are still there. Or it may be like a lot of shops now. "Old bike? We really don't want to work on it as nobody here knows anything about them."

Abbie, it is getting hard to find motorcycle enthusiasts in the mechanics bays. Funny, I was able to track down most of the electrical issues just be following the wires and last known point of voltage. I also discovered the rectifier and regulator were sub par and ordered the parts. None of this was difficult. I do not pinch pennies on my bike and do not bargain hunt for mechanics. Happy to pay a guy what he is worth for professional service when I can't do it myself. The good news is the bike is a jewel and the issues are minor.
