Bike won't start

"Geppetto" received a new filter and gas lines today. I'm happy to report that he is sounding like himself again and I believe the issue has been resolved. Thanks to everyone for your input and advice, really appreciate it.

My boyfriends back hey la my boyfriends back!

Issue not resolved. I took the bike out for a ride Sunday after installing new hoses, filter and clamps. He ran flawlessly and I thought he was fixed. Monday Afternoon I started him in the garage and he cranked right up and idled smoothly. I only ran him for a minute. I turned the bike off and heard the hose pop off the fuel filter as it clanked against the side of the tank. When I took it apart today, sure enough the hose was off the filter and the clamp was in the bottom of the tank. What could cause so much back pressure to pop off that hose and clamp? I used stainless airplane clamps and really cranked them down. :(

To start with the obvious - is the filter in the right way around?

Can you post a photo of the problem components?

Some Neveda fuel components were made without a "lip" to keep the hose on. That may be an issue. Another may be the clamps. The factory uses special clamps and clamping tool from Oetiker. Some people get by with other clamps. For you, it might not be working.
