Bizarre issue with my agostini's

I have a v7 racer. Bike has 4k on it, 3k have been with a set of NEW agostini polished slip ons. Bikes never been dropped, tipped over or even leaned up against anything to possibly cause this. On a nice ride yesterday I noticed my bike was louder soo I pulled over and my freaking exhaust was broken off. Literally, looked like someone took a pipe cutter and cut a perfect cut out of my exhaust. Now it's junk at about a year old. Does anyone know if they have some form of warrantee for this because clearly the stainless was junk and now I'm out a grand. I emailed AF1 racing where I bought them and have yet to get a response

Can appreciate your frustration, but -- at risk of sounding patronizing; if so, please forgive -- trust your email to vendor was ... uhm ... temperate.

Honey v. vinegar (or worse), etc.

Good luck with this. Keep us posted.

No I was very polite, in hopes to quickly resolve this. I already know I'm going to miss the imoc rally and DGR this year because of this and I'm upset I'm just baffled how it did this. Just didn't know if anyone else had a set of agostini's do that to them

Hey Kyle!
Bear in mind that AF1 only sells the parts & for a warranty they will have to go to the manufacturer.
Sucks, yes especially when you know it is thru no fault of yours, I have been upset in the past by very similar issues with other companies.
Sometimes stuff like this can be resolved so everybody is happy & other times not.

Hopefully AF1 has enough experience with them so a warranty can be made but if not it can be welded & used so you won't be totally out.

I got a reply from AF1. They are sending me a new unit. They already have it in the mail and have sent me a tracking number. Very pleased with the quick response I thought I was out of luck.

I would weld it, but I wanted to try this first

Did they let you keep your old ones? If so have them welded and sell one of the sets.
They told me to keep what I have there's no point in wasting postage. I don't know what they are sending I hope I don't have to take my exhaust apart and drill rivets but I'm glad I didn't have to pay for anything.

Perhaps include 'solved by dealer' in this posts header; I can imagine they would be pleased with some praise that draws customers.
Nice to hear there are still good people in business!
