Hi Everyone, I recently finished my latest project based on a 2000 V11 sport. I took it out for its maiden voyage yesterday. Made it about a mile before the 5A ECU fuse blew. I installed a new one and she fired right up and I headed out again. This time the same fuse blew within 3/4mile. Put another in and drove home. I wired up my own harness, but it follows the stock V11's schematic. I eliminated safety switches and rearranged on/offswitch, turn signals etc. I am running a PC-V w/ Auto tune unit. Engine is stock otherwise. Everything seems to work horn, lights. turn signals...and it runs great...before the fuse blows. Does anyone have any ideas as to how/where I should start to track down this problem. I can't wait to get it resolved and get some miles on the bike. Thanks

You running the PCV and autotune off that 5 amp fuse ?, Obviously you are pulling more then the rated value of the fuse. It could be caused by dirty or corroded connection including the fuse holder.

Thanks fo r the quick reply. I need to check where I stole the power from for the autotune. I'm sure it was from whatever circuit is shown on guzzitechs(Toodd's) install instructions. If that is the case, should I still up the fuse size since the PC-V is plugged in? And what size fuse do you think I should bump it up to so as not to hurt the ECU....Thanks
