Hi All

Sorry been away for a while licking my wounds !!! I'm bearing bad news about my lovely bike, Its now on its third speed sensor it broke bown on a bypass near to me which turned out to be a engine speed sensor it needs a new side stand as it keeps dropping both front disks need replacing the electric start packed up and all conections had to be pulled apart and cleaned/greesed, and now it needs the engine rebuild !!!! but never mind

Craig, thanks for dropping back in and keeping us updated. So... the wheel/speed sensor is on #3, and it needed a timing sensor replaced too? New side stand?
By dropping both disks, do you mean warping them? New starter motor? Engine rebuild(?), you mean lifter/tappet replacement, or did your motor go south?
 
What is the problem with the discs, my front brake 'pulses', it's worse two up. Dealer is checking the discs for run out tomorrow. Thought I must have knocked one. Did notice it last year before the lay up but it seems worse now.
 
At slow speed they are grabbing like hell so much that under 10 mph i cant use the front brake. . . . . think it might have something to do with the bobins ???? but my dealer is putting a claim in for them as i only done 1500 miles !!!
