Can anyone advise minimum brake rotor thickness for my '94 Cali 1100i please? Also does anyone know the purpose of the rubber/plastic hose attached to the right side of the fuel pressure regulator on this bike - not the inlet or outlet hoses - this is a third hose which runs towards the back of the bike about 6-7 inches and the back end (which has a distinct right angle bend extending upwards about an inch) is presently sitting on the top of the crankcase - I suspect it could be some sort of breather which should be connected to something ( airbox maybe ). I haven't found any mention of this hose in parts lists and the photo of the regulator on the Stein Dinse site shows what looks like a plastic plug of some sort where the hose is attached on my bike - I'm hoping to get some sort of explanation before I take the tank off.

Cheers

I checked the workshop manual, it doesn't provide the original nor a minimum thickness. I'd say it it looks bad you you, replace it. As for the hose added to the pressure regulator, I'd venture you are not the original owner and someone just added that line. Originally there was no line on these regulators, it just goes to atmosphere. Remove it if you want, nothing should come out of that line. If there is gas coming out you should replace the regulator.

Thanks John - the PO didn't seem to have a clue about this bike and the original owner, who made quite a few mods to it, can't be found, so I'm feeling my way with the help of all and sundry thru forums etc. thanks again.
