I never liked the large rear fender on the Breva and decided to get rid of mine. Unfortunately, it is not as straight forward as on other bikes because the rear sub fender extends out under the main fender, but with a bit of creative engineering I managed to chop the sub fender and make it all look nice with a custom aluminium bracket. I reused the stock turn signals and plate light.

Here are photos of the finished product and how I got there.

Excellent, the timing of your post couldn't be better. I've been wanting to do this to my breva as well but haven't been able to find any good photos of how this looks when done. LOOKS GREAT! Would you happen to have a photo of the bracket that you made for mounting your plate and signals to? I can sort of see what you have done but not totally.

Thanks. I forgot to take a photo of the actual bracket prior to mounting it and on the bike there's not much you see of it but here's a photo of the cardboard template I made which should give you a good idea:

For cutting off the rear sub fender I recommend a Dremel with a 3/4" diamond cutting wheel.

Thank you... that's what I needed to see. I sort of figured that is what you had created. Guess I can add aonther project to my always growing list.

Nice Job!! What kind of coating did you use on the grab rail, mid section peg mounts , sponsons and Header pipes...Looks great!

All the parts you listed are stock except for the exhaust which I had ceramic coated by a local company - I'm not a fan of discolored chrome or stainless pipes...
