Breva 11 - Norge 12 & 1200 Sport Registry and picture thread

Thanks guys... labor of love and all of that stuff. ;)

John, sure stop up any time... we can bolt it on and you can give it a go. I also have a CalSci here as well if you want to try it.

René, hard to tell from the photos, but I had the valve covers stripped and cleared so that the metal beneath shows through. I don't think I'll be adding any other color.

Hope to put some miles on the bike next week/weekend.

Re:1200 Sport Pic Thread

Welcoming Antonio from Strasbourg, France... "An Italian living in France."
His website has some great photos on it... in English and Italian.

Updated Registry now as well with the new category.

Welcome, Antonio — and don't hesitate to register here too, for a similar but more local atmosphere (we'll be expecting you at our monthly Guzzi dinner in Paris, one day! ;) )

Hi,

I am a new Breva 1200 Owner, having replaced my 2004 California Stone on the 28th of May 2009 with a Silver Breva, 4,000 miles on it now, and it gets better all the time, The Cali never failed me in 46,000 miles in four years, and I would have kept it as well,if finances had permitted !
The Breva has been to the south of France on the Guzzi Club of Great Britain's international rally, and I took part in the ACU National Rally, to raise money for charity, and did 670 miles in one go, from 2pm till 9am the next day, It ran like a watch, and was superbly comfortable, I have added a screen, and hard panniers are next on the list.

I've been away from motorcycles since 1979, but in spite of a family intervention, recently bought a Breva 1100 and love it. I mean LOVE it! By chance I was at the Rock Store a few weeks ago and met other Guzzi owners (few they may be). But I'm looking forward to being back there to meet more, and will check on the forum.

Cheers all!

- Tim

Hi chaps,

I am attempting to add a few photos of my new Breva 1200, and of the weird and wonderful Guzzis I came across in France, However I am struggling to get it to work, if this doesn't post can anyone give me a few pointers ?

The easiest way, honestly? Upload your photos to something like Picasaweb or Flickr, and post a link to the album (the URL) here... Depending on whether you're on a Mac or a PC, there's iPhoto and Picaso (to name but a few) to manage your pics on your own computer, and upload them to said servers. The function on here only works with a single picture at a time (at least, it did before the facelift...)

I ought to make a separate post, but here's a couple of "weird and wonderful" Guzzis present at last weekend's Trofeo Rosso (near Poitiers):

not to forget these 2 ;)

(BTW, the "code" to get that pic show up looks like this:

Welcome Tim, glad you made it!

bobelpfan, congrats on the 1200! Look forward to your info under the Registry. For photos, RJVB touched on it, however our server here will shrink your images down

Dean, are you happy with the performance of the Givi A760? Do you experience any buffeting at highway speeds?

Regards, Paul
