I had a PCIII USB installed in 2005, since the install I have had two of the original styled O2 modules go bad. The most recent failure occurred this year although it started to act up last year. The original style module is no longer available so it was replaced with the new O2 modifier. The original style O2 module was single ended and completely disconnected the O2 sensor. The new version requires the use of the O2 sensor. After installation of the O2 optimizer I continued to have the EFI light come on. Despite going back to the dealer and contacting Dynojet they were unable to diagnose the root cause of the issue. It turns out that the replacement O2 optimizer gets 12V from pin 4 on the connector and the ground return is from the ring lug. Well the Breva harness has pin 4 as ground and pin 3 as 12V. So the solution was to cut the red wire which comes from the module and goes to the connector at the connector. The splice this in to the black wire on pin 3. After doing this the green LED on the O2 optimizer now lights.
