I have always liked brown seats on motorbikes and was attracted to the Griso SE from the start because of the color combo. When I had my Ducati Paul Smart, I reupholstered the seat in brown also. But what really worked on that Ducati was the brown seat AND brown grips.

I have been looking for something appropriate for the Griso and found these:

They are Ariete grips specially made for a vendor called Scooter West to match the brown of the Vespa. Guess what, it is the same color as part of the Griso seat. The picture doesn't show the colors well but it matches the lighter brown.

I will say that the throttle tube was a PITA because the stock rubber grip is molded to grip indentations and nubs molded into the tube. A few minutes with a sander/grinder took care of that and the grips mounted like any others.

May not be everybody's cup o tea but they work for me.

I too like the brown leather look of grips and seat. My grips are real leather I bought, stained, and compressed. I used dark brown RID fabric dye to match almost perfectly. Now with the variation of new Hepco bags and there leather color so close to boot. I'm very happy with look.

I like the fact that your bike is in the house.
