Hello all, i'm new french user on this forum. I have a 1100 EV california from year 2001 since one month. This motorcycle don't run correctly. after some kilometers ( 15 kms ) , the motor power drops. I have changed the pressure petrol regulator and the pressure is good at 3 bars. Check with a manometer on the bike during the moving on the road. When motor power drops again, no problems of pressure. Now, i have to check the injectors. On your site, i see videos how to do this, thank you. See you soon.
Nota :
all the basics operations are done (Oil and air filters)
The fuel tank has been cleaning.
Spark plugs are news. i see the right spark plug very black, very dust. Left spark plug is clean.
Compression of each cylinders : 10 bars.
i have inverted the cilynder ignition coil AT, (BAE850AK). No change.

i am buying fuel injector IW031 from UK. 10 days waiting ...
 
Injectors may just need to be cleaned. If there is a diesel shop in your area they may have the necessary equipment.
 
You haven't changed the fuel filter. The petcock also has a filter and mine was quite gunked up when I extracted it.
 
I would pull intake tubes into airbox & clean the throttle bodies, air bleed screws for sure. They get very gummed up. Carb cleaner & compressed air. Set them 1/2- 3/4 open. You need some software to set idle mixture, which I have seen flip from a + to a -. Good Luck.
