I have attached a pic of the front of my Cali 3, can anyone tell me if it should have some form of trim around the headlight. It seems a bit unfinished, there is a gap of 3/8" all round the edge,it looks to me like there should something filling in the gap.
Any one got a Cali C.I.?

Is the part original?
Your headlight looks kidda small......compared to

When I took apart my LM3 I questioned the same thing ... I had a gap between the fairing and headlight.
Not like yours ..... but enough gap so that if it would rain water could probably go on the connectors behind the headlight.

Solved the problem by cutting out a rubber mat, 2mm thick, and placing it between the lip of the headlight behind the fairing.

Dan.
Only original in that the former owner of the bike bought it from the factory at Mandello, after the original fell off on the Stelvio pass,on route .He was casually informed that the headlight was in fact normally fitted to a Fiat car,and that was what he was given.
I suppose I could easily buy rubber edge trim from kit car suppliers, but after deciding not to ditch the ugly fairing,I have set about getting the bike as original as possible and so if there ever was a trim I would like to replace it.
Thanks for your input.
