One of our pet hates when travelling by bike is all the bloody batteries we have to charge and the attendant chargers we have to pack. BTW this is one of the reasons why IMO blue tooth helmets are good in theory but in practice a right royal PITA.

The total is 10 AA batteries - 2 camera, with 2 spare, 2 UHF radios x 3 batteries each - makes me feel like a gadget king :eek:hmy:

Anyway, after a lot of searching, I finally found a possible solution via the HUBB..... and thought that those what live here in Guzzi Land might be interested.

This little beauty can charge 4 batteries independantly, from 12v on the bike or from mains power, and has switcheable fast/slow charge and auto trickle charge with full charge detection - our travel battery charging problem solved! I have found a spot under the seat and it plugs nicely into the Breva power outlet to charge the spare camera batteries while we ride, so we will never miss a trick - in the vernacular; it's a little ripper. While I was at it I bought a more sophisticated charger to use at home, and this one is a real gem - works as advertised and then some. LINK HERE

Happy as a pig in poo now - battery charging problems are all solved, just in time for three days away on the bikes next weekend.

Usually charge the phone and camera from that nice little outlet found next to my soft and cosy bed at any hotel I've visited yet... :p

Sounds like MikeC found the perfect answer for those guys who have to get spousal permission to ride....

"Hey, honey....if you need the batteries to your mustache trimmer charged, let me know, and I''ll charge them up with the bike...!!!
