Well, my buddy and me got the swing arm off on his Breva to grease the swing arm bearing. Bearings looked okay and one side even has some grease. But when I was started putting the drive shaft back on I noticed that the spider that mates with the final drive doesn't move freely.
Dealer wants $185 for a new shaft. I hoping that maybe a rebuild kit is available. Anybody seen one? Come to think of it - $185 for the complete drive shaft, including, U-joint, and cush drive is a great price compared to a tonti bike.
Anyway, this should serve as another heads up. This bike only has about 30k miles on it, so it's well worth taking the rear drive to inspect the shaft splines and u-joint.
thanks
