One nice thing about California is that on a particularly nice day in January, you can ride just about anywhere. Went up in the Sierras today with Jamileh and decided to see how far we could get on the road to Cherry Lake. Turns out we made it all the way there. Road was dry most of the way.

There's something you don't see everyday.

Here's a rare sight. A monument without graffiti or bullet damage.

Great report! A few times I have enjoyed sections of the Smoky's just like on your ride when the unexpected access and "privacy" enhances the day in such a cool way.

Cheers

Great post Mark, thanks for the virtual ride. It's not often that I wish to have taken a ride that looks like that, but you got me. Look forward to meeting up with you and Jam soon.

And yes, dynamite ride to Cherry Lake (you would have loved it, Todd) - couldn't have been a better day.... a few pix....

Is Mark praying or hanging on for dear life??
