So, what to do on a day like today now that I finally have a shed that can hold three bikes at one time? Why it's time to remove the Griso front wheel ready to insert a rim tape and tube, and then decide to remove both discs so I can use a Scotchbrite pad to remove all the superficial corrosion and have the wheels come back to a shiny good look. Both discs show 6mm thickness at 70,000 kms and all the buttons move freely. Its times like this that I appreciate the quality fittings like Brembo brakes, stainless lines and quality nuts and bolts. The bike looks great after all these kilometers and I'm giving it a winter off and looking forward to two new injectors coming from Todd.
I then changed the valve cover bolts to those sent to me by Todd and what a difference, both in the quality of fit (especially the exact fit of the allen keys) and the appearance and I also changed out the little rubber grommets as well. It's good to have a shed!
It was used throughout two winters here in the rain and salt and has held up remarkably well. I really love these bikes
