So I have the click no start going on with my Griso again. Last time I just replaced the battery but this battery isn't that old and when I run a jumper wire to the starter it fires right up. I've checked all of the connections, fuses and relays too.
Has anyone done the wiring change on a Griso to bypass the voltage drop ?
I found the post for the small block solution to this and it mentioned CARC bikes but the wiring doesn't seem to match what I'm seeing and I couldn't find posts specific to a Griso.

Hi Moto 510,
I did the starter mod on my Breva 1100 a few months ago after numerous "clicks" and no start. I didnt use the wiring diagram in the workshop manual, too complicated but instead used Carl Allisons diagram, go to the Tech section, electrical above and find your bike, I checked my Breva against a Griso and they look identical. Anyway the Starter relay is numbered 3, I managed to manipulate pin 3 out of the relay holder without cutting it, and insulated it, I then ran a short 250mm wire, suitable guage from the battery +ve via a 15A fuse, soldered a spade terminal on the end and pushed it onto pin 3 of the relay in the base of the holder. To date, I have had no problems, starting wise that is
Cheers Kevin

I suggest getting the plug and play starter relay fix from MPH cycles. http://www.mphcycles.com/ I don't think it is listed on their site, but zip them an e-mail and they will get back to you. It takes less than 5 minutes to install. I've installed it on two bikes already and it is quick and easy.
