Has anyone found a method of converting the front turn signals to steady burning running lights that is less expensive than install ing new running lights?

Thanks.

This is the way I did it. The IRF4905 is a hexfet switch. There may be other better hexfets but these are cheap and I had some in my parts box. You’re basically cutting the line to your turn signal bulb and inserting this circuit. You need two - one for each side. The assembly is small enough to put heat shrink tube or tape around it and stuff it in the headlight shell. The resistor can be from 1/16 to 1/2 watt sized. I used a 1/8 ‘cause that’s what I had. You need two - one for each turn signal. The now running light is always on but will flash with your turn signal. Parts can be had from any electronics supply store or even Amazon. YMMV. I’m not responsible for your workmanship or whatever. This is what works for me. I also replaced my bulbs for LED bulbs as they are much brighter.
