Dart Flyscreen for your V7

I think I'm liking the light tint. Tobor, your screen looks almost completely opaque. Could you post a photo not in harsh, direct sunlight?

The crash bar looks pretty good actually. It's so small though, I wonder if it would do much good. How much does it weigh?

Yea, Tobor is this actually the opaque jet black version you have on there? If that's that dark tint than it's a bit too dark for my liking.

This windscreen is solid black.....no light transfer at all. I would not put it on the Classic or the Stone but on the Racer it works. As for the crash bars....I have not tested them (yet). They bolt to the frame and are very solid. They might not prevent a scuff in the event of a drop but will save the head from taking the full weight of the bike.

I'm using the lighter version but didn't like seeing the back side of the instrument cluster. I mounted the screen with some paper taped and created a silhouette pattern for transfer to some sheet black adhesive material. This was then mounted to the backside of the Dart flyscreen.

I just placed an order for the dark smoke to install on a 14 special. I'll post photos once it is installed (probably thursday or friday evening).

Todd, do you have a store front in Malibu I can check out?

I've got the dark Dart and love that little thing. Cleans up the air on the freeway just enough so that I don't need a death grip on the bars. Looks nice as if it was made just for this bike.

I looked at the Dart wind screen but decided to go with one from MRA.

Gerry what make are your hand guards?
They are Guzzi hand guards from a Stelvio. A small mounting strip had to be fabracated.
You can see part of bracket top left in the pic. the other end mounts under the mirrors. I don't have the bike at home so I can't send a better picture.
Hope this helps.

Todd,
Dart is making another model screen called the "Marlin". He sent a couple Guzzi guys one to test and photograph. Should be for sale in the near future. Little bigger and different shape. Great reviews from the guys that got them.
