Cruisin' Guzzisti
Whew ! What a trip.
Those who didn't go missed a nice time. Attendance was up from last year. Weather was pretty-much fine (except cooler than predicted mid-week).
I departed home mid-day on Tuesday and took a leisurely ride down. I took my camp gear but ended up staying at a familiar motel in St. Augustine, about 40 mins north of Daytona.
PYoung made it in with his Stelvio (trailered!) and camped at Holiday Travel Park close to Daytona. We linked up for dinner at Flagler Fish one night, Martin's (as published here) one night and for DanR's Blackwater Inn deal on friday.
DanR did his usual fine organizing for the Blackwater thing but he showed up in a Dodge Ram truck instead of on his Griso ! We had a good crowd of folks and a good time. Peter and I made a small dirt excursion on our way to Blackwater and found a scenic riverfront setting.
