A french "generic biking" site currently has a photo-documentary on Argentina online. And what do we have [t]here? :)

 
Given the heavy Italian influence on Argentina, it comes as no surprise that they use Guzzis.
 
But how long have they been using these bikes? That's not a recent California model...
 
Looks like a 850-T5 if I can make that out correctly, so circa '83~87.
 
In 1979 when I was there the police cars were Ford Falcons with the same body style from the 60's.
