    Nice to throw a leg over an absolute classic and rare machine (65 (yes - sixty-five) built worldwide. Seriously stunning. Post slab-sided 900ss/851/888 and before the 916. Pierre Terblanche, we salute you. I have no idea where this bike is located so don't even bother to ask. Quite comfy though. Seriously, seriously, stunning.

    I've been around/sat on them when they were first released, and I was able to watch one go around the track as the Woods of NHIS own one. Impressively good package and power.
    I just thought the price was insane (which it still is), but it is one of the rare few newer Ducati's that will be an investment as a collector... but it's far better to see them ridden.

    I saw a few of them being raced back in the 90's. The true beauty of them was in the engineering, the way they worked. But they are good looking. Really the only truly good looking motorcycle that PT designed. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then.
