ECU Swap/PC-V Update --PLEASE READ--

I'm interested in getting my bike to run the best it can, the money is an issue right now but I could probably piece it together. I'm not sure what the best option for me is being kinda new to this stuff, but living so close to Todd I hope he will help steer me in the right direction. Were you able to maipulate the ECU like you wanted?

Todd, I am definitely interested in your solution but have one question -- what is the impact, if any, of disabling the O2 sensor?

Chris, hoping to see the hardware/software this week.

Mel, the only way to get the PC-V in a timely manner is to disconnect the 02-sensor from the ECU loop. Then we can manipulate the entire fuel map using the PC-V. Additionally, if you choose, one can purchase the AutoTune module to build/correct your own map.

The ECU manipulation will include some timing changes and a revised few other parameters.

Todd,

I'm just guessing here but I would think that a dyno run and adjustment would probably be best, but the autotune offers more flexibility, is that correct. And if so, how difficult is it to learn how to use the autotune and understand the different parameters to change around?

Chris

Chris, dyno is always best, as it's quick and easy... and perfect for *each* bike.

AutoTune is fairly simple, but will require a big handful of time to build a solid map.

Good on ya for having a go at sorting out bearucrat designed fueling. I too would be interested in taking up your offer but unfortunately my finances arent as abundant as my passion for my Griso! What changes would be made to the timing curve and what "other parameters "woud be changed.

PC-V development happens this coming Friday.

The CNC, powder-coated airbox lid eliminator (pictured below)... will be sold as part of the kit for those interested.
