Bike going in for warranty work this week to replace corroded lower forks and sort out 'misting' headlight.
Apparently there is a MG technical bulletin out for the headlight so the dealers are going to try that route first before possible replacement.
I saw the replacement fork legs supplied by MG and they were rough as a bear's ass so after much discussion with the dealer managed to take the replacement lowers away and have them glass bead blasted and two pack painted.(tried for powder coat but nobody in my local area could do the job).
As they are going to be taking the forks apart I have taken the opportunity to get a set of matris front fork springs fitted at the same time.
Also just got a set of new shocks, built to my spec, fully adjustable with 2yr unlimited mileage warranty and can be rebuilt if any future problems.
Next on the list is a set of Agostini mufflers (would have loved Todd's full system but replacement got to be homologated) followed by Todd's fuelling kit to complete the package. A few pics showing the re-shaped and re-covered pillion seat, new fork legs ready for fitment and new rear shocks.

Took bike in for warranty work, we will give you a call when done says dealer. Phone rings "we" have a problem "we" forgot to order the bushes, FFS, what's this "we" business, YOU forgot to order the bushes. Parts not available at MG, now on back order. To say I'm not impressed is an understatement.

Reference back rest, have a look at my post, Eldorado rider backrest, all details there. I find it really comfortable and gives great lower back support. It's adjustable for height and angle, prevents slouching in the saddle. Rear rack is official MG rack for Eldo. Message me if you want further info. Just be aware if you have Hepco becker C bow pannier supports they will not fit with this rack without modification. If you have the official MG panniers then you are good to go. Good substantial rack, I have the large 65l top case but only cos I got it at a steal. Have posted details on other threads.
