Ok here is another weird issue I hope someone can help me solve. I have the GIVI engine guards on my V7iii and they seem to love to vibrate. It’s most noticeable at higher revs, although it’s kinda always there. It will buzz my bars at highway speeds and shake the needle on my Speedo. I tried installing some forward foot pegs on them for longer trips and that make things worse. Anyone have these with the same issue or have a solution?

I've got the same Givi guards on my V7III and have had no vibration problems. Just bolted directly to the frame joint with longer bolts for the extra thickness. They look great too.

Make sure the bolts are tight to stop vibration. If they still vibrate, then they're faulty and should be removed.
I took them off today and most of the vibration is gone now. Unfortunately I threw away the original bolts so I had to reuse the GIVI ones. I think the rest of my vibration is from the exhaust.

Question, is the Givi one sufficient protection? I see more expensive ones like the OEM or Hippo but they are also larger in size. I like the small footprint of the Givi but wanted to know about protection? if you go down, covers the cylinder caps, the gas tank and handle bars? I'm guessing with any of them, the exhaust will likely get impacted anyways. Thanks

The Givi engine guards do an excellent job of protecting the bike. I stalled mine and pitched over the the right (I have MS), the only damage was a slightly bent rear brake lever. I installed some folding toe pegs and hopefully the next time this happens there will be no damage.
