It had gotten to the point where I was even embarrassed to park my beloved '98 hotdog & mustard EV near Harleys and old brit bikes. "EV" seemed to stand for Exxon Valdez. Yikes. Besides, I had managed through ignorance to pretty well trash the clutch. Seemed like a fine time to invite Wayne Orwig over.

The process took several weekends, for reasons that will be revealed here: http://preview.tinyurl.com/EV-Surgery-Slide-Show

Hmmmmmm. Wondered how you could do that.

Then realized I had those uploaded to "public" albums for some time but had not been able to do captions and post 'til now (visiting grandbabies in Virginia and Kathi, et al, are doing the baby work while I do ... erm ... nothing.

Will be riding the Norge back up here a month from now; can't wait.

Yep, and I must admit I saved you to my 'favourites' list (I know, I know, the term is badly chosen... but what can you expect from guys who call themselves Google? :silly:). So I get an alert whenever you upload new pics. And since those usually involve bikes and/or biking, and sometimes instructive wrenching lessons (or even lessons of life) :p, I tend to go have a looksee each time ;)

PS ... disturbing?

How can anyone who isn't opposed to eating meat be disturbed? I'm just not used to taking the mustard off before cutting up an animal to the bone ... but that's what it made me think of :D
