I just noticed this pitting on my left side header. It wasn’t there a couple of weeks ago and it’s not on the right side. My bike is a 2020 Eldorado with 2500 miles. I did install mistral exhausts a few weeks ago. Has anyone else dealt with this or know the cause?

Those are fabric burn marks, either from a jacket, cover or similar. To disarm your stress somewhat, Guzzi has rarely ever warranted cosmetically blemished parts, even when ethanol caused paint bubbles through their plastic fuel tanks on other models. I suggest enjoy your bike and ride it as much as possible. If you focus on all of the small things, you'll be quite disappointed quickly in the bike. As a whole, it is a solidly constructed hand-built machine. Perfect, no... but far better than the average.

You could always get the pipe stripped of chrome, polished, and then rechromed. Check out the $$$ first.

As Todd points out, there are many other features to appreciate.

Bit of solvol and some elbow grease will solve that no problem

Nevr-dull is another excellent product. It worked wonders on my '82 Honda Nighthawk. It had lots of shiny bits.
