I went with my 2010 Stelvio to a Moto Guzzi dealer just after Christmas 2014 as there was an intermittent problem on start-up. Basically a sign would appear on the dash stating SERVICE and a red triangle would flash. To start the bike I had to disconnect the battery and all would be well. This happen twice hence the visit. As I had disconnected the battery I was told there was no information in the computer to inform the dealer what the issue was? After he had had a look at the bike in the workshop he said that he had put into the ECU a factory update, I told him I had a Power Commander fitted, he shrugged and said he was carrying out factory orders by updating all bikes that came into the shop as a matter of policy. The bike ran started badly, ran badly until warm, and the fuel consumption was dreadful. After some expensive investigation and resetting the Power Commander the bike runs as it should but I have found the MPG is in US gallons not Imperial. So 2 points to note: 1, do not have the latest factory update downloaded unless you are sure it is going to produce MPG in Imperial if you live in the UK and 2, tell the dealer that you have a Power Commander fitted and they must not interfere with the bikes settings. Going to confront the dealer with all paperwork tomorrow, I wonder what response I will get? Mick

Sorry should have said Christmas 2015, and the dealer says all UK guzzi's are measuring their MPG in US not Imperial gallons. Anybody tell me different?

Are you a time traveler? We haven't had Christmas 2015 yet. You had it correct the first time.

Hi John, I had an issue at Christmas 2014 and went to the dealer in the first week in January 2015. Yes I am a time traveller, your 2015 present is very nice.
Mick

As I remember you were happy but, like almost every other person on the planet you did not receive your harts desire. 2016 was a better year for you!!! Time is money, wages are big, things to do and places to see, my friends say I have been around since Pontius was a Pilate. I might start living in the 60's things were better then.
