Sun was out and a balmy 12 degrees C this lunch time so I went for a short shakedown ride. Told the wife I'd be gone for a couple of minutes, and 30 plus miles on I 'phoned her to let her know I'd stopped for a burger and I'd see her later! This is the first ride I've had with the handlebar risers fitted....I never even noticed them so they've worked perfectly. Thanks for the tip, Bill. Once again the bike drew the attention of other riders and I've not heard one negative comment about it so far. Even the relatively low power output doesn't put people off. If only MG could improve their image regarding reliability I bet they'd sell all the bikes they could make. Can't wait to get more miles under the wheels so I can get the service done on the new engine and really give it the berries. :D

Glad you finally got out, and the risers are working. Having my tank replaced on Tuesday, and Luigi is paying for it. People complain about warranty claims, mine was excepted with no questions asked except for photos of the tank. My dealer Moto-Nexus has never had a problem dealing with Piaggio. You have to be careful when you go out for short rides, as the V7C has a mind of its own and you just go along for the ride where ever it takes you

You're not kidding, only went out this to put some petrol in the tank and got back 3 hours later. Need to fill up again now. Look Ma, no oil leak!

Nice!
I've had a few rides this year, but today was the Frozen Snot Ride in Milwaukee. Temp was about 35f, and I'm guessing there were about 80 bikes there. 2 Guzzi's, many vintage and imports. I think there were more Urals than Harleys. Also had a squadron of mopeds. Those guys were crazy.
There was not enough room anywhere for all of the bikes to park at each stop.
