Taking my Eldorado in for the 1500KM service tomorrow. I will be trailering it to the shop, so that it will be stone cold for the service. Approximately, how long should I expect the service to take?
Also, is there anything else I should have them look at or check before leaving?
I plan on doing all future services myself but wanted the dealer to perform the first. Crazy (maybe) but just feel its better that way.

Although I don't believe it's on the list , I might suggest having them change the transmission oil . If mine
was any indication at 6000kms . It looked pretty awful and only takes a bit under 1/2 liter . Mine took
somewhere around 3 hours , but I have no idea how many the mechanic may have done before . Peter

Screenshot 2020 07 29 094649 Screenshot 2020 07 29 094321 Hi there, In the service manual for the Cali 1400, it says that the 1500Km service on that bike is timed at 140 minutes.. (Pages 55 and 56). So I guess this is what a reputable dealer is told to charge for. I can't imagine the Eldorado is any different. Paul (UK)

Sorry about the multiple attachments, the forum engine went a little mad and kept adding them. Maybe me, but you get the gist :)

It would appear from your chart that I may have been short changed on the transmission oil change :( . Oh well
I got to do it myself and now know it's been attended to . Peter

Thanks for the replies.
I want to say thanks to Motoplex West Chester for the great experience and camaraderie.
The service took @3-4 including and update for MGMM. I trailered the bike down and my cousin and drove to Lansdowne, Pa where I grew up. We went to the best cheese steaks in the area Italian Kitchen in East Lansdowne. We drove back and stopped at McLaren Philadelphia for a little bit of dreaming. If anyone is interested, they had a 2019 MB G63 AMG with @14k miles at $182k only 40k over the original MSRP. Crazy!
Back to Motoplex and some entraining discussions with Mark, Mark, Matt , Jeremy, and (sorry forget his name) the Piaggio rep.
The bike was cleaned and off we went.
Just an overall positive experience. You don't mind the extra time involved, when the dealership is not in your backyard, and you feel as though you are appreciated as a customer.
