The nice guys at Moto Republic here in LA told me today that my front forks are leaking round the seals. Being brave, or ignorant, and because they are hesitant to touch any older Guzzis, I guess I'm going to have to do the deed myself!

How difficult a job is it, and is there anything else I should be looking at replacing whilst doing that job?

No one in LA seems to want to touch older bikes, so any help on this topic would be appreciated.

    Cheers

There's some useful stuff on Youtube. Check the condition of the chrome on the forks though. Any pitting or damage and it'll tear through the new seals quicker than you can say, "But I just fitted new seals!"
