Hope to pick her up in about two weeks, being trucked down to MaxPower next Monday I hope, then the PD, then I have to decide if I want her stock or pipe it up etc. Yes, would be happy to meet another Guzzi rider :D

Let me know when you have her between your legs and we can go from there...

Welcome to here . WHAT ,, first Guzzi and she's brand new and unseen ??.
Wow , what a cool decision you've made . Good luck , post us some pics and more info when she arrives , like what did you used to pedal along with ?
Regards Supaflee

Hi Supafee,
when I was young, oooo so long ago, RD350, took a massive step and got a K750four, Z1000, GS1000, CBR929R, 954R, 1000RR, VFR800, ZX14, currently an FJR1300 (great condition, up for sale  ) and now just waiting on a classic that will last me for the rest of my biking days

cheers

Ahahaha , an old campaigner eh . I really dunno why its taken me so long to get a Guzzi , Im a bit like yourself , ridden most stuff available and thought I'd try a Guzzi now .
Im really enjoying the "playability " with my Guzzi, its old, so am I , we understand each other.
We've just had the most atrocious weather here , otherwise I'd have been riding more often, I choose not to ride in crap now .
Enjoy your bike when it arrives , good luck with it .
Regards Supaflee

I'm also about to place an order for a new Norge as well. As I'm pretty much local to you (Camden area) I hope to be able to catch up with you and see what you think of it as I have a few questions to ask.

BTW I've sent you a PM.

Have joined the NSW Guzzi club, paid my $30 and haven't heard a word from them?? I am wondering if they are strong or not. I've had some posts from the Southern guys, maybe we should get together after I pick her up and organise some rides?
Have a good mate in the Vic club and he says its great.

"Laid Back" is probably the best description form the MGOA NSW - I too am a member. They have a good rally in September (BYO everything) at Bretti Reserve north of Gloucester - unfortunately I won't be able to make it this year as my olds have their 60th wedding anniversary that weekend (51 other weekends to choose from and they pick THAT one).

The do monthly rides and the occasional away weekend. At some point in the future you will receive a newsletter in the mail but there is a site in WipaSnipa that has the calendar and relevant info - you could also go to a monthly meeting (says he who has never been to one yet!).

Thanks Tony,
looking to catch up with you, my olds have their 60th this year as well, in November but they kindly got married AFTER the Snowy Ride, they must have known. Now that would have been a tuff choice lol
