Hey fellas. Kurt from Tassie here.

Been riding for over 20 years now, but this week bought my first Guzzi. (V7 Racer No. 749)

Just can''t say enough good things about the way this Guzzi rides. Lovely small block motor that purrs away in a stable and smooth but sporty chassis.

Anyway, just a quick hello.

Cheers

Kurt

Welcome Kurt, congrats on the V7R!

Be sure to post a picture in the Small Block pics section.

Post often.

Welcome Kurt,
I find Tasmania a dangerous place, I always wear the sides of my tyres out prematurely when I visit.

You lucky bugger! Tazzy and a Guzzi.

Congratulations on the purchase Kurt. The V7R is a lovely bike. I was at the Tassie dealer's demo day on the 25th and couldn't take my eyes off them. Sounds glorious with the Arrow pipes as well.
I have made my mind up on a Stelvio NTX just waiting to sell the bike it will be replacing. Previously looked long and hard at the Griso. This site is brilliant with all the information and expert advice available.

Gidday Kurt

Ridden around Tassie twice now and absolutely loved it. Couldnt take the Norge so hired a BMW from hobart and it was great, fully recommend it if you cant take your own bike. The riding is awesome but expect the weather to be a bit weird, in February we got snow, hail and rain on the same day at cradle mountain. Never the less counting the days till we go back.
Enjoy the new bike on those fantastic roads down their.

G'day Kurt - Lofty from the Far North coast of NSW here - we have some great rides in this part of the world but still have great memories of our couple of weeks in Tassie in the early nineties on our BMW K75S - I would love to get back down there on our Cali but it's not likely at present so will have to enjoy what we have locally (that's not terribly difficult).

Stay uppendicular!!!

Lofty
