Gear indicator for the Guzzi Stelvio

I'd probably be interested in buying one. Have to sell a few more books on Spain first, but I might do well at the Manchester Show this weekend... Duncan Gough

I'm planning a further version including an auxiliary power plug (to supply other devices like a GPS-navi).
I'm not sure if this will be useful for someone. What you think?

This looks like an interesting unit.

Can I ask if it could be mounted on either the Left or Right windscreen support?

I see in the photos that it is on the Left, I have my GPS mounted there so I would need to mount it on the Right side.

Cheers

Yes, it can be mounted on the right side too.
You have to unscrew the two screws holding the "sun cover" and the bracket both. Then you move the bracket at the right side and tighten the screws again.

Hi Gimpo, I would be interested just in the normal version. when do you thing you can organize this. Thanks and greatings back to my old hometown munich.

Hi folks,
just a little delay in making the Periscope available for the Stelvio 8V.

The documentation for the new model needs to be updated since there are some minor upgrades in the configuration menu.
Also, the mounting instructions are a little bit more long than the ones for the 4V model. Mounting the Periscope on the old Stelvio was really simpler!

Last but not the last, all signal-cables are shielded to meet the american rules about radio interferences.

I'm quite confident that all will be ready in the next week. :)

Yes, meaning I'll have a very small batch on my online Store here the minute they arrive. I believe Guilio sent five.

Hi all.

Here the modifications of the new version of the Periscope:

  1. new graphical design of the visual Speedo
  2. little changes in the design of the RPM bar-indicator
  3. new instrument: the voltmeter (as numerical indicator)
  4. battery voltage alarm*
  5. battery voltage check during every start of the engine
  6. new structure of the configuration menu
  7. holding bracket is 30 mm (1,18 inch) longer than before

Cheers, Giulio

Hello Gimpo, I'm new to Guzzi and this thread. What would it take to make one of these for the V7 series? I'm planning on buying a new V7iii in a week or 2 and would be a definite customer if one was available. V7 MGs are the most popular model I believe, so the market should be bigger too.
