New chum in Palmerston North, NZ. Got tired of shoving the 800+ lb Nomad around the driveway and garage so bought meself a pretty wee V7-III Special. Now retired, and enjoy getting out and about when grand-dad taxi service permits. I have thoroughly misplaced the mystery and enjoyment of riding in the rain after 50+ years of riding! Have put on a Dart Marlin screen, and expect delivery this week of some H&B Orbit luggage, some Hot Grips, some tank knee pads, and some Givi engine bars on order. I look forward to meeting other down-under Guzzi riders, or any riders for that matter! Cheers, and thanks for the welcome!

Image Gidday Palmynomad. I'm on here as voncrump. I live in Rongotea and I own a V711. Txt me on 0212976424 to make contact.

Hi Palmyman, congrats on your purchase....

Where did you purchase the bike ? (Morrinsville ?)

Looks like you are all set to head to Wanganui for the boxing Day :punch: racing ????

I am heading down Christmas Day. Could catch up if you are planning on it ?

Will be with a few Italians (Aprillias, Ducati and the Griso)

Cheers.

A man with taste! I bought the bike here from AFC, but he sourced it from Nick in Morrinsville who is a mate of his. It is going really well and coming due for it's first service. I go to Wanganui every year, though lately I have been caging it as I take a much more elderly relative who has also gone every year, but for the whole 50+ years. If you are ever planning to visit the Manawatu let me know.
