Can anyone please confirm the dates for the GMG 2022 event in September? We have contacted the Moto Guzzi International Motoraduno Città Organising Committee several times via email and searched the internet for any mention of the event, but drawn a complete blank.

We're assuming it will be the second weekend in September, Friday 9th to Sunday 11th, but really need clarification so we can firm up our travel plans for a European tour. We have already booked accommodation near Mandello based on the above dates.

Edit 25th March 2022, email received from the Motoraduno Città Organising Committee:

Buongiorno Chris, chiediamo scusa per il ritardo. Tra poche settimane daremo ufficialità, ma posso anticipare che sarà dal 7 all'11 settembre

Hello Chris, we apologise for the delay. In a few weeks we will be official, but I can anticipate that it will be from 7 to 11 September.

Yay!

I can't remember where we found dates but thats when we've booked too, judging by the lack of hotel space on these dates I think we're ok.

Thanks for the responses. The general consensus seems to be the second weekend in September for the event. Fingers crossed we don't have to amend time booked off work or our ferry crossings.

I contacted Moto Guzzi Customer services direct, the response I received was that NO official decision had been made and to keep checking the Official Guzzi site and Social media for updates :banghead:. So far as previous posters have said, no info available.

on the site today

The situation created by the pandemic has made it necessary to reschedule the events due to have been held in Mandello del Lario from 6 to 12 September

The Moto Guzzi Centenary will be celebrated in style in September 2022”

I contacted Moto Guzzi 'the Clan' yesterday. No decision has been made yet. Hey ho, glad all my bookings are cancellable if restrictions continue.

I'm currently staying just across the Lake from Mandello.

Was in Agostinis on Thurs, didn't think to ask if they knew!

I'll be popping back there before I leave hopefully, so I'll ask them.

Will do.
Was going to stop for a photo, but it just wouldn't do to have a white Fiat 500L rental car in front of it . . .

Maybe I could just about get away with it if I was in this little beauty . . .
