Hello American friends!
happy0184.gif

I'm very pleased to see so many Guzzi lovers in the new world!
I've been there (US) a lot of times, but never saw a Guzzi...actually lots of Ducati...anyway, sometimes I enter GuzziTech to look at your thoughts or solutions and I must say I'm really satisfied and happy!
I'm also surprised about the surname of one of the moderator, because my hometown is this!

I hope to be helpful sharing my knowledge with you and, why not, meet us in a Guzzi contest in the USA!

Here you can see my beast:

More info here: http://grigiocarbonio.blogspot.com/ (sorry it's only in italian, but it's mainly a pic blog ;) )

Cheers,
GriGio (that means Griso + Giovanni)

Benvenuto GriGio! Great to have you here.

We here in the US struggle to deal with Piaggio Management and lack of interest in Guzzi support, but we LOVE the bikes, so we move forward despite the troubles.

Please stop back often, and count on me bothering you for translation and/or information.

Funny on John Zibell, he'll enjoy that fact.

Please let us know if you plan a U.S. visit.

Benvenuto GriGio.

Welcome. Awesome pictures, awesome bike, awesome site (picture thread). :silly:
I'm living at a shorter distance, in the Netherlands.
I can't read or talk Italian, sorry.
Maybe I'm going to learn this because I love your country, like to go living in Italy in 10 (?) years...
I've bin there now three times last 4 years... including Mandello de Lario... ;)
Hope to read more of you and your Griso.
Have fun.
Ad B

Saluti da Grecia!!
Bellisima moto! Mi piace tantissimo!

I am still laughing with the Zibello - Zibell coincidence!! :D
Maybe this explains a lot about this particular "italian gene" that we may share - (given that my ancestor's land, Crete, was occupied by Venice in the Middle Ages). I've always been attracted to all things italian, bikes among others for some unknown reason. B)

Hi Giovanni,

Glad to see you on the forum. BTW, my family name origin is from the northern side of the Alps but the coincidence is interesting. Enjoy the Griso.

Hey there GriGio :!:
nice to hear from a fellow Emiliano-Romagnolo :woohoo: (I grew up and lived in Imola before I moved to the US - my parents' house is just a few blocks from the "Dino & Enzo Ferrari" track).

Great job on your Griso 1100 :!: :!: :!:

Greyo/Claudio

That Griso is bad ass! Very nice. I like that you got rid of the stock air filter element.
Welcome to the forum!
Cheers

Hi American Guzzi friends, I'm here to say: HELLO! :D
And to show you my latest "toy" in place of the original compensator pipe ;)

GriGio -- beautiful bike! What are you using for fueling corrections? ECU modified in some way, and/or a fuel modifier like a Power Commander -- or nothing at all (and which map is in the ECU, if so)? Would be curious to know... Thanks!
