Well I was on a 4 day tour up to Colorado, Utah and Arizona from my home in Winchester. I pulled into flagstaff Arizona to my motel and the bike was making a loud metallic rattling and running rough then it quit firing on the right cylinder. I arranged a tow and got the bike back home and took off the right valve cover to find the valve spring by the cam chain broken and the spring cover and keepers laying on top of the head. I am bummed since the bike only has 19 thousand miles on it and has never been over 7000 rpm. I don’t feel competent to R&R the head on a 8 valve motor so hopefully I can get it into Todd.

Update on my Griso. Damage is limited to the head. Looks like a new valve, spring, valve guide and adjuster. My thanks to Todd for jumping on this so quick.
