I can get new AGM (higher-spec) batteries rated at 19AH (for $85 + shipping), the stock Yuasa is 16.5AH, which I can get as well for US$115 as of Jan. 2012. Check with me direct e-mail for pricing; Info at GuzziTech.com
The bike you have has room for a large battery which is the 12V 30Amp. Some of the later California type bikes used a smaller battery as emission equipment was in the battery area. I believe Todd is referencing batteries for small block bikes. I don't think he handles the AGMs now and is selling Lithium Ion batteries from the Store. So, I've one 97' Cal EV, and some days ago I've to replaced the battery. The owner manual asks for 12V 30A, I replaced it for one 12V 20A (too much cheap then 30A). My doubt is: Some owner's manuals asks for USA and Canadian Models 12V 16A - Is that right? If yes, do you know why is that difference of them? Just for information.
Thanks.
