So a big up to Guzzi for fitting the Racer III with fully adjustable Ohlins rear shocks (available on the Store HERE), and major down for pairing them with the Made in Taiwan damper rod Kaifa forks.
In my efforts to balance it out properly, I made a plug-and-play complete Ohlins conventional cartridge fork kit for the V7 III models ONLY - as the '17 III's have a new larger completely different steering head and larger stem versus the previous models.
I took the RentAGuzzi V7 III 820R for it's first ride on Labor Day, and the difference in ride is miraculous... Both in a geometry sense, as they increased the wheelbase on the new bikes make the bike a little more lazy steering IMO, which this new kit decreases the wheelbase and rake significantly, offering quicker turn in and rock solid stability, and the ride is smooth as glass over nearly every road anomoly I rode over, both upright and at significant lean angles in the canyons here. The ultra-low stiction Ohlins 43mm forks are up from the stock 40mm, and are works of art to look at. New clip-on bars are needed as shown, which I'm a dealer for.
Yes it's expensive, but I'm thrilled to have done it and can offer it to (hopefully) a few here. I'll offer a massive labor discount for installation on any '17 V7 III with stock wheels at my shop in Orange, to the first buyer here in SoCal. Contact me via direct email; Todd at GuzziTech.com

You can come ride it by clicking on the RentAGuzzi banner above to book it.
