Took the Griso for inspection Saturday. All was good. The inspection guy of course never heard of a "Moto Guzzi". (Hey - is that a sideways V???) We went through the normal drill: Reflector tape on the helmet, brake lights, blinkers. He never checked the exhaust for DOT marks. I never did more than idle during the checkout.

Leaving I had some fun, this pipe is loud when you get on it...

I had the same reaction to the bike, those inspection guys have no idea. :laugh:

I give my guy 20 bucks, he gives me a sticker, I drive away.

I lived in Marlboro, NJ for 10 years. Now in Michigan, and no vechicle inspections!
 
Took my bike in for NJ inspection this week, Fast by Ferracci slip gave them the slip... they didn't even check my horn! The only thing NJ checked was my lights! Oh and paperwork, insurance, registration.

Why do they bother inspecting bikes?
