I have a V7II 2016 and I really love the aesthetic of GT-Rx SS V7 Stubby Mufflers.... if I buy them today,

can I install them by myself in my garage (i don't have a bench, just a "space")
do I need specific tools?
also is the remapping mandatory?
what bad could happen if I don't do the map immediately?
Can I ask a local mechanic to do the remapping?
Do I lose the warranty with Motoguzzi?

Basic hand tools only. Sounds like you don't have a lot of wrenching experience so maybe invite a bud over that does.

Even without installing the mufflers a remap will make your bike run better & last longer.
If you do the mufflers & don't do a remap then ride the bike easy, no running by the red line for extended periods.
Local wrench can't unless he buys the tool from Todd who runs this site.
Best plan is to contact Todd direct & tell him what you are planning on doing.

Do I lose the warranty with Motoguzzi?
That will depend entirely upon the dealer.
Some dealers will say "No Warranty"
The better dealers will decide if your mods caused the failure or not & make a decision from there.

Do some searching on this site & especially read some of the posts from folks who have done Todds fueling mods.
