GTM V7 Mk I-II Oil Sump Spacers

Are these recommended for the V85 engine as well? I don't know the differences between the 750 small block in the V7 and the 850 small block in the V85.
No. The older V7 (Mk I & II) pulls oil from the bottom of the pan. The V7 III, V9 & V85TT all have an overhead oil pick up, with a completely different oil pan design. so these will not work. I might delve into making one as the extra capacity would be beneficial.

I have an odd question that I didn't see in the thread.

Part number GU32570510, "Sump Guard", another site refers to it as a "chin fairing"

Will your sump spacer work with this piece installed?

Chris is being modest, that's his masterpiece. I appreciate being part of it's transformation. As stated, yes it fits and works. Thanks for the order.

I'll be first in line if you do make a sump extender for the III

Okay, I have another question that I didn't see elsewhere in the thread. Not that it isn't there but I did look.

I just got one of these, and I have it mostly installed. This may be an ignorant question but the oil pump spacer, does it go under the filter/next to the cover or does it go above the filter? Cover/spring/filter/spacer->into sump

Thanks! My guess tells me it goes between the cover and the filter but, better safe than sorry. (This is probably wrong haha)

Thru bolt --> Cover->Spacer->Spring->Filter->>>>into sump

-OR-

Thru bolt--> Cover->Spring->Filter->Spacer->>>>>into sump

?
