Piaggio USA made a showing for the first time at IMS Long Beach in forever. The show was the biggest I’ve seen in quite some time. So good to see.
It sounded like it may be the only official showing by them in the U.S. outside of maybe Chicago, I was told.
Good to see all of the brands under their umbrella represented, and mostly by local dealer support. The custom V9 was a commissioned build by the PR guy Shane P. Enjoy.

Thank you for the info and photos Todd!
Did you get any new info on the V85? ;)
Very little, other than Q3 2018 is a very aggressive date. If we see it then, it will be a 2019 model, which I suspect is the year we’ll see it here in the US. In the past, we have been ~6 months behind Europe, but they have been getting much better with this issue.

how about the custom job, with the Guzzi engine mounted to what appears to be an old Schwinn bicycle? that was rad

Yes, that one has made the rounds before. Wouldn't want to ride it, but it sure is fun to look at whatever that is worth.

These ultra-radical customs are all mostly useless, but I often enjoy the styling/design.
I wasn't very taken with the style on this green one. Just does nothing for me. So it goes...
