On the TV police drama "Life" last night there was a scene (actually two) where the main characters are inside this garage filled with exoitic cars, and right in the middle is a black Moto Guzzi 1200 Sport. Since I own one of these beauties, and due to the fact that the bike will no longer be imported into the US it did my heart good to these it displayed as such.

I was surprised to read that the 1200 Sport will no longer be imported to the US. Is that because of the soon to arrive Sport 1200 8V?

I was channel surfing and caught a glimpse of the Guzzi. The ladyfriend was not impressed as I went "There's a Guzzi in with those cars!" She was patiently waiting for me to change the channel as I waited for another look as I was not sure which model.

I was told by a rep from Piaggio, at the Long Beach Motorbike Show, that the 1200 Sport 8V "would come, could come and might come to the US."
