Sorry if this is a repeat but will the hand guards for the Stelvio work on the V7C. Tried a set off an Aprilia but did not work.

Not a reply as such, but I'd like to know if the Stelvio handguards will fit a Griso? Haven't had a chance to get to a dealers to compare (due to a new knee).
Ian (London, UK)

The Stelvio hand guards mount under the mirror stalk and on the end of the handlebar end weight. A new weight is included, longer than the standard one, I'd say about 1.5 inches long, though I don't have one to look at in front of me.

If the V7C and Griso use the same hand controls, and a similar bar end weight, I'd guess it'd work. I'd hate to spend the money on a set without seeing it in person, though.

Justin has a set for my bike I asked him to hold for me (I just returned from Holiday travels). I bet you guys could easily verify the fit on a show room bike.

Cheers

If you haven't picked them up yet I will go over and check them out :woohoo: Have no idea if they are open on the 2nd, that is sat.

Haven't made it there yet. Left again to visit some more family in VA and just got home so hopefully Justin still has them. I plan on drinking some of John's coffee this next week so no need for you to rush in checking them out.

Cheers

Bob

Thanks for the heads up. It will take your stomach a week to get ready just to handle John's coffee :woohoo:

I went over to Moto-Nexus and checked out the Stelvio hand guards and they will not work on the V7C. on the throttle the master cylinder will not let the mounting hole at the mirror come even close plus the lever sits right against the hand guard. Probably have too look into the KTM hand guards.

It may break into the high 40s(f) next week, good excuse to go for a ride off the mountain and check out Katey M's goodies

Acerbis in Italy have "dual road" guards which certainly look the business, and if you want useless farckles can be had with an LED lightshow all over them.

Go to page 113 of the CATALOGUE HERE (use the page box at the RHS of the row of ICONS across the top)
