Harmonics, vibrations and wobbles, WTF

I'm not too sure you could actually install and torque the rear wheel if the rubber damper assembly
wasn't in stalled correctly . Have you checked to see if the rear wheel bearings are rough feeling or
exhibit noticeable play ? Peter

PROBLEM SOLVED
I installed my new Avon Cobra Chrome Tire in the stock size of 200/60/16 , balanced it and road tested. Vibration GONE.The vendor who supplied the Shinko has agreed to take it back and though I'm not happy about paying $270 for the Avon vs $140 for the Shinko, the improved ride quality us worth it. This was obviously a defective tire, the first Shinko I ran for 6500 miles and loved it.

You are the first person who I have encountered with an issue with a Shinko tire and I've sold hundreds of them.

Nobody's perfect I guess.

I'm happy you got it sorted out. 👌 👍 :)

So after removing the Shinko 777 on the rear and replacing it with an Avon Cobra Chrome, my subtle vibration was gone. I left the Shinko 777 on the front that I had purchased from Revzilla. I got 7k miles out of the Avon and close to 13k on the front Shinko. Just replaced them both with new Shinko 777's from Revzilla and wouldn't you know it that vibration is back. As i've said in earlier post's its more of high frequency hop than a vibration issue from not being balanced. Could it be the fact that i'm putting a 180 tire on wheel that's made for a 200? It feels like i'm riding on pavement that has dips in it but very subtle.

I doubt the tire size would have this effect , after all that's the size that comes stock on the Eldorado.
You didn't mention how your tires were balanced ? Also if you spin your new tire ( mounted on bike) is
there any perceivable up and down on the outside of the tire ? Peter
