Headlight retaining ring black for V7 ?

I'd love to customize my headlamp. I noticed the new V7III Rough has a all-black headlamp... no chrome ring...

are they compatible with the v7ii? are there any way to buy a black ring?

I've seen black rings for sale, but a can of black paint is ~$6. I used Plasti Dip on mine in case I ever want to go back to chrome...it just peels off.:nod:

Yes it would be, and plasti-dip or powdercoating would be better as that part takes a lot of road abuse.
 
I don't like cheap DIY solutions

after some research, I found out I can use the same ring for the v7III or v9

it is sold as part number 2S000946 (OEM Moto Guzzi Black Headlight Bezel) on eBay or Af1racing or your dealership

I got mine for 60$ and it fits perfectly because it is the same ring (dealership didn't know! oh jeez...)
