Just got it firing!
Hi folks,
Recently retired to Oz; bringing a couple of Honda 4s and the lovely Griso from the UK. Relatively new to Moto Guzzis, and somewhat in awe of its power. It’s a 2011/ 1200SE in Tenni Green, with about 7000 miles, and so mint it’d pass for showroom new. I’ll be keeping it this way as only a recreational rider, and only when the sun shines.
At around 3000 miles I personally rollerised it, and added in the thicker sump gasket. Last year I regreased the head bearings, as well as the rear suspension roller bearings. The bike is never short of attention and over-serviced tbh.
My other bikes are a recently fully restored (by me) 1973 CB750 (concours and regularly ridden) and a 1969 Sandcast CB750 - again mint and somehow smuggled into the living room.
Looking forward to the help & knowledges of the forum. Many thanks.
