Hello to all. Just joining the group. Old biker getting his first Guzzi today. My son is picking up a pristine T5 for me today, 1985 with 12k on the clock. I am living overseas so he is my proxy. It is going right into the shop for a complete soup to nuts service, however it is running flawlessly and was stored indoors it's whole life so paint and metal are abnormally good and original 00f0f cnwsl1ajtjl 600x450 . Normally I'd do my own wrench twisting, but no time and not there. I have a new Indian Chieftain in the garage in Florida, but will keep this bike in NH for a North east rider. I have always loved MG, but the last time I slung my leg over one was in 1979 so a 1985 is new tech for me. I am one of the few guys who don't think the T5 is ugly I guess. Look forward to picking your brains and swapping lies. Art

I have a '89 Mille which is a close cousin to the T5.

Who says they are ugly I always thought they were both good lookin bikes.

my t5 was really ugly , i fitted a Suzuki Bandit 1200 headlamp and mounts with a v50 dash and it was much improved. Added FAC dampers and a steering damper, it rode much better but was still very unstable

Hi and welcome , there appears a few folk are starting to talk T5 I think they are well under rated with a sweet 850 engine that loves to have revs
Iain have you still got your T5 i like what you did with it
